Anti-Social Social Club (2017) takes a look at some of Canberra’s DIY music scenes, including groups such as Box Cutter, Pickle, Mulgara, and Home Brew Records. The photos focus in on smaller details of the various events, like empty cans, tattoos, torn jeans, and decorated guitar cases. Presented as a zine, these images are placed beside conversations with the people behind the events. Contrasted against images of youthful rebellion, the conversations convey the values of acceptance, resourcefulness, and love of music, which lie at the heart of these scenes.
